Job Title: PCB Design Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our hardware team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in high-speed multilayer PCB design, industry-standard EDA tools, and a thorough understanding of PCB design best practices for performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop complex multilayer PCBs using Cadence Allegro and/or Altium Designer

Handle high-speed layout tasks including stack-up design, differential pair routing, impedance control, and matched delay

Create and validate component footprints and manage PCB libraries

Ensure all designs comply with IPC, UL, and MIL standards

Collaborate with hardware and mechanical teams to meet DFM and DFT requirements

Apply PCB design guidelines for EMI/EMC compliance

Support hardware testing and prototype validation activities

Mandatory Skills

Minimum 6 years of relevant PCB design experience

Hands-on proficiency in Cadence Allegro and/or Altium Designer

Strong expertise in high-speed and multilayer layout stack-up design, differential pair, impedance control, and matched delay

Sound knowledge of SMD and through-hole electronic components

Very good knowledge of IPC-2221A, IPC-SM-782, IPC-7351, UL and MIL standards

Hands-on experience in footprint creation, validation, and PCB library management

Good understanding of EMI/EMC design guidelines with some exposure to hardware testing

Educational Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
