Role Summary

Research Scientist Patent Department supports patent searching, freedom to operate analysis, drafting, and prosecution activities for inventions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Literature search to support R&D activities
2. Conduct patentability- analyse prior art to assess novelty and inventive step
3. Conduct freedomtooperate searches
4. Preparing and Filing Response in the Patent Office
5. Drafting patent specification.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of organic chemistry
• Strong knowledge of Indian Patent Act
• Patent search and priorart analysis skills
• Understanding of patent
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Qualification & Experience

1. M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry)
2. 5 to 8 years of work experience in Intellectual property rights (Patents)
3. Good communication skills
