Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Hindi Teacher role based in Naihati. The Hindi Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that build students reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Hindi, following the curriculum and academic standards set by Yourstudy. Daily responsibilities include planning lesson materials, teaching classes, assessing student progress through assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will maintain classroom discipline, create a supportive learning environment, and communicate regularly with coordinators or guardians about student performance. Participation in staff meetings, exam preparation, and occasional school events or workshops may also be required.
Qualifications
  • Strong command of Hindi language, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and written expression.
  • Ability to teach Hindi to diverse age groups and learning levels using clear, structured, and engaging methods.
  • Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment in a school or tutoring setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support learners.
  • Bachelors degree in Hindi, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience in Hindi, preferably in a classroom or coaching center environment.
  • Organizational skills to manage part-time schedules, maintain student records, and meet academic deadlines.
  • Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices and a respectful classroom culture.
