Salary: INR 15,000 per month
Job Description: Paralegal Assistant
The Paralegal Assistant will support lawyers and legal teams by carrying out a range of administrative and legal support tasks in accordance with UK legal processes.
Qualifications
A degree or an equivalent qualification
Proficiency in English and Maths
Prerequisites
Successful completion of Xcovas Foundation English Assessment
Excellent written and spoken English
Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
Ability to work UK hours and observe UK holidays
Basic proficiency in:
o Microsoft Word
o Email and Internet usage
o Microsoft Excel/spreadsheets (basic level)
Experience
No prior experience required
Full training will be provided
Key Responsibilities
Manage the expectations of case workers.
Assisting lawyers and other team members.
Manage the assignments in a proactive manner.
Save inbound and outbound documents
Keep case workers clearly updated about task status.
Applying for documents via online portals.
Drafting, sending and receiving emails and letters on behalf of case workers as instructed by them. Carrying out research on various topics.
Attend required training to develop relevant knowledge and skills of the Consultant.
Work from home or from an office as directed by the Company from time to time.
Provide uninterrupted services during the Working Hours.
Work Arrangement
This role is on-site at our office at Floor no. 3 room no. 303, Block C, Akshaya HQ, Padur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
