Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in database development and support. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming, database performance optimization, and application support. Prior experience in the Insurance domain will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL programs, procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
• Perform requirement analysis, development, defect fixing, UAT support, and production support activities.
• Optimize SQL queries and database objects to improve application performance.
• Support batch processing, data migration, and database maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with business users, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Follow SDLC processes, version control practices, and change management procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within agreed timelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong expertise in:
• SQL Query Writing & Optimization
• PL/SQL Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers
• Database Performance Tuning
• Data Migration and Batch Processing
• Experience in requirement analysis, development, testing support, and production support.
• Good understanding of SDLC methodologies and change management processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
