Job Description
Job Specification:
Candidates should have experience in Integration processes, having worked on more than two SaaS (Oracle
Cloud HR and Payroll) Integration projects is preferred. The candidate is expected to possess strong
technical skills and contribute to the design and development of projects. Technical experience in below
modules are required - Core HR, Payroll. Any of the following modules are preferred - Compensation,
Talent, Benefits, Absence Management, Time and Labor.
Job description:
The candidate will have experience working with clients to understand their business requirements and
tailor solution to their needs. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for identifying process
improvement areas and developing future best practices around different integration patterns (Cloud,
Hybrid etc.).
Responsibilities:
Candidate should be able to work closely with customers to understand their business requirements
and tailor solutions to their needs.
Candidate should be able to provide Best Practices, Coding/Naming Standards, Design Patterns,
Environment Strategy, Security, Error Handling etc.
Candidate should be able to use a functional specification and create technical specs and build code
as per requirements.
Candidate should be able to formulate a comprehensive Error Handling Framework/Strategy.
Candidate should be familiar with test planning, execution and test result documentation activities
[including Performance/Load Test]
Candidate should be experienced in code migration and release management processes.
Candidate should have ability to hold demos, functional and technical discussions with onshore
teams including end customer.
Candidate should be able to mentor junior team members.
Required Skills:
Applicants should have proper knowledge on Core HR and Payroll Module such as Enterprise
Structure, Employment Model, Payroll Processes and related backend tables, Webservices for
interfaces
Applicants should have knowledge/work experience on different SaaS Webservice like HCM Data
Loader WS, Flow Action WS, BIP Webservices etc. Having knowledge on Oracle HCM REST APIs is
Preferable.
Applicants should have experience in SOA/Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) ideally with integration
to/from Oracle Cloud Applications.
Candidate should have extensive experience in Oracle PAAS products like SOACS, OIC, MFTCS.
SOACS - Extensive hands-on experience with BPEL/OSB/Mediator along with technology
adapters like Database, File/FTP, JMS, REST/SOAP etc.
OIC - Extensive hands-on experience with creating scheduled and realtime orchestration
flows and SAAS adapters. Awareness of agent setup and configuration.
MFTCS - Extensive hands-on experience in setting up Transfer and basic admin tasks like
user and custom folder creation, purging etc.
Applicants should have good development experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud data loading process:
HCM Data Loader, HCM Spreadsheet data loader. Experience in writing HDL Transformation
Formula for data loading is preferable.
Applicants should be familiar with the development of Oracle Fusion Cloud Extracts: HCM Extracts
for extracting Work Structure, Demographic, Payroll, Absence related information. Candidate must
have development experience on different types of BIP templates like EText, RTF, Excel, XLS
Stylesheet etc. Having knowledge/experience on Benefits Extract (834 format) is preferable.
Applicants should have extensive development experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Reports: Oracle BI
Publisher reports for extracting Work Structure, Demographic, Payroll, Absence, Benefits related
information. Candidate must have development experience on different types of BIP templates like
EText, RTF, Excel, XLS Stylesheet etc.s
Good to have knowledge on HCM lookups, Value Sets, Fast Formula (HCM Extracts, HDL), Custom
delivery channels for Custom/Seeded HCM Extracts.
Good to have experience in OTBI reporting is an added advantage to this role.
Experience in various SDLC lifecycle phases including requirements build, deployment, testing and
support.
Must have good troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills.
Candidate should have experience with code/configuration management tools like GitHub, SVN,
Harvest, BitBucket, Maven etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.E or B.Tech) is preferred.
Experience in at least two SaaS (Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll) Integrations.
Oracle Cloud Certified candidate is preferred.
Seniority Level:
5+ years of experience in a similar role
3 years of relevant experience in oracle cloud
