Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join Datacenter and Cloud Operations team in Bengaluru. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle and SQL database administration, architecture, and cloud migration. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing large-scale datacenter operations across global regions (North America, Africa, Europe, Global) with a focus on backup, high availability, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain datacenter operations with over 2000+ databases (Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Handle database architecture, design, planning, and configuration for both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Perform patching, upgrades, backup/recovery (RMAN), and release/change management.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and provide consultative solutions for optimization and modernization.
• Manage standby databases, RAC environments, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with global teams (Brazil, North America, Africa, Europe) to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide analytical insights on environment upgrades to cloud or latest technologies.

• Technical Expertise:
• Oracle architecture, RAC, patching, RMAN backups, standby databases.
• SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL administration.
• Cloud migration (Azure training/certification within 34 months of joining).
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience:
• Proven track record in managing large-scale database environments.
• Exposure to datacenter operations and cloud technologies.
