Manage and maintain Oracle database environments to ensure high availability and performance Perform database installation configuration and upgrades Monitor database health troubleshoot issues and optimize database performance Collaborate with development and support teams to support application deployments and changes Ensure data integrity security and backup recovery procedures are followed Implement and maintain database automation and scripting for routine tasks Analyse and resolve complex database issues in a timely manner Stay updated with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide expert level support for Oracle databases within the application support team Act as the primary point of contact for Oracle DB related incidents and service requests Conduct root cause analysis for database related problems and implement corrective actions Develop and maintain documentation related to database configurations processes and procedures Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless application performance Participate in on-call rotations to provide 247 support coverage Mentor junior DBAs and share knowledge within the team Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for database management

Need to work in247 support model Should know ITIL and Change management process
