Oracle Apps DBA

We are looking for Oracle Applications DBA with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in managing Oracle E-Business Suite environments. The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, patching, cloning, backup/recovery, and performance tuning of Oracle Applications and databases On Prim / OCI Environment. Candidate knowledge of R12.1.x and R12.2.x Application.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) environments On Prim / OCI Environment.

Perform regular cloning with multiple methods (Ex. RMAN, Storage Sync etc.) of Oracle EBS environments for development, testing, and production. Apply patches and upgrades to Oracle Applications R12.x and databases 11g,12c.

Monitor and optimize performance of Oracle databases and application components. Manage concurrent managers, workflow services.

Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning.

Troubleshoot issues related to Oracle Applications, databases, and middleware components.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams for deployments and issue resolution.

Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 (including AD utilities).

Proficiency in Oracle Database 12c/19c administration.

Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.

Knowledge of WebLogic Server and Oracle Fusion Middleware.

Familiarity with Linux/Unix shell scripting.

Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.

Exposure to OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) for monitoring and management.

Exposure to Agile , Vertex and Sabrix will be added advantage.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree, Information Technology, or related field.

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Apps DBA certification preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
