Role Summary
Experienced Operations Manager with Senior DBA expertise in managing mission-critical
database environments in cloud ecosystems. Combines deep technical knowledge with strong
operational leadership to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability in a 24x7 global delivery model.
Proven ability to lead incident management, drive automation, enforce governance, and improve SLA
performance while mentoring teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Acts as a key escalation point and decision-maker for complex production environments.
Operations Manager:
Led end-to-end P0/P1 incident management as Incident Commander, driving war rooms/bridge
calls and reducing MTTR through rapid decision-making and cross-team coordination
Owned SLA compliance (response & resolution), proactively identifying risks and driving
improvements in MTTR, MTTD, and overall service reliability
Directed major incident bridge calls, ensuring structured execution, clear task ownership,
and timely resolution across Infra, App, Network, and vendor teams
Acted as primary stakeholder SPOC, managing escalations and delivering clear
communication on incident impact, status, and recovery timelines
Conducted deep Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across infrastructure, application, and network
layers to identify true failure points
Led blameless postmortems, driving actionable engineering fixes and preventive measures
to eliminate repeat incidents
Developed and maintained runbooks, SOPs, and automated remediation workflows,
improving operational efficiency and reducing manual intervention
Drove operational governance and team leadership for L1/L2/L3 support, ensuring 24x7
readiness, strong ticket hygiene, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Technical Expertise (Senior DBA Scope)
Architect and manage complex multi-tenant database environments in cloud platforms
Own database uptime, performance SLAs, and capacity planning
Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
Lead RCA for major incidents and ensure systemic fixes
Drive automation of DBA operations (monitoring, maintenance, reporting)
Approve and govern database changes via CAB processes
Establish and enforce database standards, runbooks, and best practices
Serve as senior escalation point for P1/P2 incidents
Mentor DBAs and CloudOps engineers, building strong technical capabilities

Manage operational risks, mitigation strategies, and leadership reporting
Support customer onboarding, transitions, and go-live readiness
