Operations Lead - Data & Analytics Engineering

Were hiring a hands-on Operations Lead to drive multi-stream data & analytics delivery across cloud platforms and modern data stacks.

You'll own delivery across multiple projects while staying close to architecture, pipelines, production issues, and engineering standards. \

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead delivery across multiple data engineering & analytics streams
• Review architecture, code, and platform design decisions
• Dive into pipelines when needed (debug, optimize, stabilize)
• Improve reliability, SLAs, data quality & governance
• Standardize CI/CD, DevOps, and operational practices
• Handle production escalations calmly and systematically
• Mentor senior engineers and uplift engineering maturity

Tech Landscape

You should be strong in several of these:

Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP

Processing: Spark, SQL, Python (mandatory)

Warehouses/Lakehouse: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse,

Databricks Orchestration: Airflow / ADF / Prefect

Streaming: Kafka / Kinesis / PubSub

Transformation: dbt or similar DevOps: Git, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform Data Quality & Observability concepts. We dont expect everything but we expect depth + the ability to learn fast.

Who You Are

• 5 + years in Data / Platform Engineering
• 2+ years leading multi-project technical delivery
• Strong coder (Python + SQL)
• Calm under pressure in production environments
• Structured thinker, strong communicator
• Builder-first leader not just status reporting
