Operations Intern

Role Overview

We are hiring a high-ownership Operations Intern to work closely with our backend operations team across telecom, infrastructure, and vendor coordination.

This is a hands-on execution role where you will actively manage operational workflows, track assets, resolve tickets, and coordinate with external partners not just shadow teams.

High performers will be considered for a full-time Operations role post internship.

Responsibilities

1. Vendor & Partner Coordination

• Coordinate with telecom operators and data center partners for issue resolution and updates
• Track requests, follow-ups, and ensure timely closures (within defined TATs)

2. Ticketing & Issue Resolution

• Handle daily operational tickets (1025/day) via internal systems
• Categorize, prioritize, and escalate issues based on urgency and impact
• Ensure closure with proper documentation and minimal backlog

3. Asset Tracking & Operations

• Maintain and update asset inventory and tracking sheets (SIMs, devices, infra components)
• Ensure data accuracy and regular audits in Excel trackers

4. Basic Troubleshooting Support

• Assist in first-level troubleshooting of telecom and infrastructure issues (training provided)
• Work with internal teams to identify root causes and follow resolution steps

5. Backend Operations Support

• Support day-to-day admin and operational workflows
• Ensure smooth coordination across teams with minimal follow-up delays

Who Should Apply

• Graduates (BBA preferred; B.Com / BA / BSc welcome)
• 01 year of experience or relevant internship in operations/backend roles
• Strong ability to multi-task and manage high-volume operational work
• Good communication and coordination skills

Skills Required (Must-Have)

• Proficiency in MS Excel (filters, VLOOKUP, basic Pivot Tables)
• Comfortable using ticketing tools / dashboards (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Good to Have

• Basic understanding or interest in telecom, hardware, or networking systems
• Exposure to startup or fast-paced environments

Work Expectations

• 6-day workweek (roster-based, including occasional Sundays)
• Willingness to travel occasionally to data centers across India
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
• Tenure: 6 Months
• Location: Noida, Sector 2 (Work-from-office)

What Success Looks Like (KPIs)

• Timely closure of 90%+ tickets within defined TAT
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date asset records
• Minimal backlog and strong follow-up discipline
• High responsiveness in vendor coordination
• Demonstrating ownership without constant supervision
