NSX Design & Implementation Engineer

NSX Design & Implementation Engineer VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9.x)

We are looking for an experienced NSX Design & Implementation Engineer with strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing NSX networking architecture across enterprise datacenter environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement NSX deployment topology for enterprise environments
• Create and manage North-South connectivity and routing design
• Configure and optimize:
• Overlay & underlay routing
• TEPs (Tunnel Endpoints)
• Tier-0 (T0) and Tier-1 (T1) Gateways
• Develop deployment strategies for:
• NSX Managers
• Edge Clusters
• Edge Nodes
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy for NSX failover across two datacenters
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and network teams for seamless integration
• Ensure scalability, high availability, and performance optimization of NSX infrastructure
• Provide implementation documentation, design diagrams, and operational best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX-T / NSX in VCF 9.x
• Expertise in enterprise network architecture and virtualization
• Deep understanding of:
• Logical routing
• Overlay/Underlay networking
• BGP/OSPF routing concepts
• NSX Edge deployments
• Experience designing multi-datacenter DR solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and implementation skills in virtual networking environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation ecosystem
• Knowledge of datacenter migration and hybrid cloud networking
• VMware certifications preferred
