NOC Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking a dedicated Network Operations Center (NOC) Level 2 Network Engineer to support and maintain client network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage network operations within enterprise environments. This role focuses on operational support, incident response, and proactive maintenance to ensure network stability and reliability.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to network alerts and incidents using tools such as SolarWinds.
• Provide operational support for Cisco and HP Aruba switches, HP SDWAN, and Aruba Wireless solutions (Controller and Aruba Central).
• Assist with ISP failover configurations to maintain continuous connectivity.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM), and Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Support VPN connectivity and Zscaler solutions (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX) for secure network access.
• Work with Azure Cloud Networking for basic implementation and troubleshooting tasks.
• Collaborate with Level 3 engineers, clients, and internal teams to escalate and resolve complex network issues.
• Document incidents, changes, and resolutions in accordance with operational procedures.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Familiarity with Cisco and HP Aruba switches
• Basic understanding of HP SDWAN
• Experience with Aruba Wireless (Controller, Aruba Central)
• Knowledge of ISP failover design and support
• SolarWinds network monitoring proficiency
• Ability to troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls
• Configuration support for F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM)
• Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF) administration
• VPN configuration and support (F5)
• Basic integration of Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX)
• Azure Cloud Networking fundamentals
