Network Security Engineer

Position Title

Associate / Senior Associate - Network Security

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage:
2. Technical security compliance assessments for IT infrastructure areas like Vulnerability Assessment, Secure Configuration review, Penetration Testing, Secure Network Architecture Review, Firewall Rule base Reviews, End-point Reviews, Secure Configuration Document Review etc.
3. Analysis & Approval of Firewall Rule base Change Management.
4. Security review of security solutions, end-points, VPNs/Remote Accesses, virtualization environment etc.
5. Vendors for network security and other infrastructure security services & review of each security report shared by the vendors.
6. Compliance with Guidelines on Information and Cyber Security for Insurers issued by the Insurance regulator, IRDAI.
7. Security Awareness
8. Development of Cyber Security awareness activities related to Network Security and Other IT Infrastructure areas, like facilitating during the Phishing simulation drills, secure coding training program, SCD workshop, e-mailers, posters, e-learning module etc. and promotes secure-by-design culture.
9. Infra and Application Security

3.1 Develop the test cases for Application Security assessments, part of the application walk-through.

3.2 Plan for Infrastructure Security assessments including VAPT, Red Team (Internal / External).

3.3 Validate the vulnerability closure submissions done by the application and IT Infra Teams.

1. Other Cyber Security activities, including ( but not limited to ) track the Change requests, On demand Security assessments and etc.

Critical competencies & Person Profile

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Engineering Graduate/ Master in Computer Application / Post Graduate in Management.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Information Security.
3. Knowledge in the areas of Secure Network Implementation, Deception tool, Firewall rule implementations, IDS, IPSs, IT Infrastructure Security and Audit.
4. CEH certification would be desirable.
5. CCNA / CCNP Security /CCSA Certification would be an added advantage.
