Position Overvie

wNetwork Engineer is responsible for delivering onsite network deployment, installation, and maintenance services. The role involves performing rack and stack activities, IOS upgrades, and device health validation for a range of network infrastructure components including switches, routers, servers, and wireless access points

This position requires hands-on technical expertise, attention to detail, and effective coordination with remote support and client teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance with service delivery standards and SLA

esOnsite Deployment & Installation (Rack and Stac

• k)Perform rack and stack installation of network and server hardware including switches, routers, servers, and access points (APs
• ).Install SFP modules, stacking cables, power cords, and network uplinks as per design and project requirement
• s.Ensure proper labeling, cable management, and adherence to rack design and airflow guideline
• s.Mount devices (up to 3 meters in height) securely and safely, following all EHS standard

s.Device Configuration & IOS Upgra

• deExecute IOS/firmware upgrades and confirm version compliance post-upgrad
• e.Validate successful device boot, configuration integrity, and module recognitio
• n.Collaborate with remote engineers for configuration application, testing, and verificatio

n.Device Health Check & Validation (POS

• T)Conduct Power-On Self-Test (POST) validation for each installed devic
• e.Verify interface status, module health, LED indicators, and power redundanc
• y.Identify and report any faulty or non-functional hardware for immediate escalatio

• esStrong hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, and Aruba network devices (Switches, Routers, Wireless APs
• ).Knowledge of L2/L3 networking concepts such as VLANs, trunking, link aggregation, and routing fundamental
• s.Experience with firmware/IOS upgrades, device health checks, and configuration validatio
• n.Familiar with rack standards, structured cabling, grounding, and ESD complianc
• e.Ability to interpret network diagrams, rack layouts, and cable schedule
• s.Understanding of ITIL service operations and SLA-driven delivery framework

s.Qualifications & Experien

• ceBachelors Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fiel
• d.25 years of experience in on-site network installation or service delivery engineerin
• g.Practical experience with Cisco IOS or equivalent enterprise network operating system
• s.Proven track record in executing rack installation, IOS upgrades, and post-installation validatio
• n.Experience with ServiceNow or ITSM ticketing systems preferre
• d.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skill
