Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Juniper Network Expert to design, implement, and support enterprise and service provider network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Juniper networking technologies, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience working in complex, large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain enterprise and service provider networks using Juniper devices

Manage and support Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls (MX, EX, SRX series)

Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS

Deploy and maintain MPLS, VPN (IPSec/SSL), and WAN connectivity solutions

Configure and manage Layer 2/Layer 3 switching (VLANs, STP, trunking, routing integration)

Administer firewall policies, NAT rules, and security configurations on Juniper SRX

Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and uptime

Troubleshoot complex network incidents, outages, and performance issues

Perform network upgrades, patching, and configuration changes

Work closely with cross-functional IT, security, and cloud teams

Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures

Required Skills & Expertise

Strong hands-on experience with Juniper Junos OS

Expertise in MX, EX, SRX platforms

Solid understanding of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS

Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL, GRE)

Strong knowledge of network security principles and firewall management

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

Ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues under pressure

Certifications (Preferred)

JNCIA-Junos

JNCIS (Enterprise or Security)

JNCIP (Enterprise or Service Provider)

CCNA / CCNP (Cisco knowledge is a plus)

Experience Level

Senior Level: 510+ years of network engineering experience

Experience in enterprise, telecom, or service provider environments preferred

Work Environment

Global / multi-region network operations exposure is an advantage

24/7 support or shift-based environment may apply depending on project

Nice to Have

Network automation (Python, Ansible)

SDN / cloud networking (AWS, Azure)

Large-scale MPLS or carrier-grade network experience

Multi-vendor experience (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
