Role Description

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Administer and support network devices from Cisco, Alcatel, Juniper, Palo Alto, Check Point, and Fortinet.
• Administer and maintain FortiGate Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator, and FortiClient solutions.
• Configure and manage Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Access Points, and Aruba ClearPass NAC solutions.
• Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancers, application traffic optimization, and high-availability configurations.
• Manage and maintain structured cabling infrastructure including UTP and fiber networks.
• Support, administer, and maintain campus-wide network infrastructure and connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, routing, switching, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and core firewall infrastructure.
• Implement and manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions and network security policies.
• Configure firewall rules, VPNs, and security settings to safeguard enterprise infrastructure.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and operating system updates for network devices.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity utilization to ensure stable operations.
• Analyze network traffic patterns, troubleshoot network issues, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and On-site Support teams for incident resolution and operational support.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, policies, and best practices.
• Track incidents, service requests, and deployments while ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
• Work with stakeholders and vendors to recommend and implement effective network solutions.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and minimal downtime across network infrastructure.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel, Palo Alto, Check Point, and Fortinet network technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, routing, switching, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and core firewall technologies.
• Experience with Wireless LAN technologies including Cisco WLC, Access Points, and Aruba ClearPass.
• Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancers, traffic optimization, and high-availability configurations.
• Familiarity with structured cabling environments including UTP and Fiber infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with experience in traffic analysis and log investigation.
• Experience implementing and securing enterprise network infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and NAC solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise or SI environment and manage critical incidents effectively.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across technical teams and vendors.

Preferred Certifications:

• CCNP / PCNSE / NSE4 / JNCIA / ITIL

Recommended Salary Range:

10 LPA 18 LPA based on your relevant work experience

Experience:

• 58 years in Enterprise Network Infrastructure Support.
• Experience supporting multi-site enterprise or managed service environments will be an added advantage
