About the Role: We are looking for a Network Administrator with hands-on experience to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves 24x7 network monitoring, incident handling, troubleshooting, and basic administration of LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, wireless networks, and proxy systems while ensuring SLA adherence and security compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Network Operations & Monitoring: Monitor and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points using NMS tools. Identify, log, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents within defined SLAs. Perform first-level troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, VPN, WiFi, and internet connectivity issues and escalate to L2/L3 teams when required.
• Incident & Service Management: Handle incidents and service requests following ITIL processes. Provide timely updates to stakeholders and maintain incident documentation.
• User Access & Support: Support VPN access, firewall policy checks, IP allocation, and DHCP issues. Troubleshoot WiFi authentication and connectivity problems.
• Proxy & Security Operations: Administer enterprise proxy solutions (Forcepoint / Skyhigh or similar). Manage URL filtering, application control, and web access policies. Monitor web traffic and report potential security incidents.
• Maintenance & Compliance: Perform routine health checks, patching support, and configuration backups. Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams and inventory. Support audits and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, SOC, etc.).

Skills & Experience Required

• 2+ years of experience in Network Administration / Network Support / NOC roles.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and basic routing & switching.
• Basic hands-on exposure to firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Familiarity with Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet, or Palo Alto network devices.
• Experience with network monitoring and IT helpdesk tools.
• Working knowledge of basic network CLI commands (Ping, Tracert, NSLookup).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in shifts if required.
• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in IT / Computer Science or related field.
• CCNA certification preferred.
