Network Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a Network Security Operations Analyst to help secure and enable a global enterprise network. This role focuses on managing next-generation security technologiesprimarily Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security controlswhile partnering with engineering and security teams to support reliable, secure connectivity across regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support network security infrastructure (Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect, IPSec/SSL VPNs).
• Administer firewall environments, including policy management, monitoring, audits, and upgrades.
• Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
• Perform root-cause analysis using logs, packet captures, and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with SOC and IT teams on incident response, audits, and security initiatives.
• Manage incidents and requests via ServiceNow and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Maintain technical documentation and network designs.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support critical security events.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto preferred).
• Strong knowledge of firewall architecture, security policy management, and network security design.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, DMZs, segmentation).
• Hands-on experience with IPSec and SSL VPN technologies.
• Experience with packet analysis and log monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Splunk).
• Familiarity with cloud security solutions (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and incident-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Firewall, WAF, or cloud-native security tools.
• Exposure to hybrid or large-scale global network environments.
• Interest in automation, process improvement, and modern security architectures.
