Murex Datamart Developer

We are seeking a Murex Datamart Developer with experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting Murex MX.3 Datamart solutions. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Datamart configuration, reporting development, data extraction, SQL development, and Capital Markets products. The role involves building and maintaining reporting solutions that support Risk, P&L, Market Valuation, Finance, and Regulatory reporting functions.

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline
• Experience in Murex MX.3 Datamart development
• Strong understanding of Murex Datamart architecture and reporting framework
• Experience with Dynamic Tables, Feeders, Reporting Tables, and Extractions
• Strong SQL development skills
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
• Understanding of Capital Markets products and trade lifecycle
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skill

• Experience with Python scripting and automation
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
• Exposure to Control-M scheduling
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik reporting tools
• Familiarity with Murex upgrades and migration projects
• Knowledge of DevOps and release management processes

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Murex MX.3 Datamart reporting solution
• Configure and support Dynamic Tables, Feeders, Batch of Feeders, and Scanner Template
• Develop reporting tables, extractions, and processing script
• Build and enhance simulation-based and Risk Matrix report
• Design and maintain data extraction and transformation processes.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-optimized reporting solution
• Analyze and troubleshoot Datamart reporting issues and data discrepancies
• Support report validation, reconciliation, and testing activities
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Operations, and IT team
• Participate in SIT, UAT, release, and deployment activities
• Assist in Murex upgrades, migrations, and environment support activities
• Maintain technical documentation and development standard
