Job Description
TCS is hiring SQL Database Administrator
Location: Kolkata
Experience: 2+
SQL Server Administration (All versions).
Strong knowledge of T-SQL scripting and automation.
Experience in backup and restore strategies and administration.
Performance tuning and query optimization expertise.
High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR) implementation experience.
Hands-on experience with Replication, Log Shipping, Clustering, and Always On Availability Groups.
Understanding of Windows Server and networking fundamentals.
Knowledge of Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and RBAC for cloud environments.
Experience in SQL Server side-by-side migrations and upgrade activities.
Exposure to cloud-based database administration and monitoring tools.
Familiarity with automation and scripting using PowerShell or similar tools.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work in production and critical support environments.
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Understanding of security, compliance, and database auditing best practices.
