Morpheus API Programmer

Job Responsibilities:

Morpheus API Implementation (Hands on)

Build and maintain integrations using Morpheus APIs for:

listing and retrieving instances (GET /api/instances, GET /api/instances/{id}

provisioning instances (POST /api/instances) and validating responses.

capacity and related checks using cluster endpoints (GET /api/clusters and related usage)

Implement and maintain request payload templates for provisioning (JSON), including required parameters (e.g., group/cloud/plan/image/disk sizing as supplied by upstream systems).

Authentication, Authorization & Token Management

Implement secure API authentication patterns used with Morpheus (bearer token / API key / basic auth as applicable) and manage token refresh/expiry handling in automation.

Troubleshoot access and permission issues (e.g., 403 errors when provisioning into restricted groups) and coordinate fixes with admins.

Primary Skills:

Proven experience integrating with Morpheus (or equivalent cloud management platform) using REST API

Strong skills in:

REST/HTTP, JSON, authentication tokens, error handling, retry/backoff

scripting/programming in Python and/or Shell (typical for automation glue code)

Ability to troubleshoot auth/access errors and coordinate resolution with platform admins
