Medical & Surgical Gastroenterologist

Job Summary:

We are looking for qualified Medical- Assam Location and Surgical Gastroenterologists - Khammam Location to diagnose, treat, and manage diseases related to the digestive system. The role involves both medical management and surgical intervention depending on specialization, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Gastroenterology:

• Diagnose and manage GI disorders such as GERD, IBS, IBD, liver diseases, and pancreatitis
• Perform endoscopic procedures like endoscopy and colonoscopy
• Manage chronic conditions including hepatitis and cirrhosis
• Handle GI emergencies such as bleeding cases
• Provide medication and dietary management plans

Surgical Gastroenterology:

• Perform GI surgeries including laparoscopic and open procedures
• Handle liver, pancreatic, and biliary surgeries
• Manage gastrointestinal cancer surgeries
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
• Handle surgical emergencies such as obstruction, perforation, and trauma

Common Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and provide accurate diagnosis
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
• Maintain proper medical records and documentation
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards
• Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care
