Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Media Planner/Strategist to support our global RFP initiatives. The role involves developing data-driven, comprehensive media strategies and proposals for global pharma clients on Docerees proprietary programmatic platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong programmatic expertise, commercial acumen, and cross-functional collaboration skills.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Media Planning

  • Interpret client briefs and translate them into structured, insight-driven media strategies
  • Develop comprehensive media plans including tactic selection, budget allocation, targeting strategy, and KPI framework
  • Ensure optimal use of internal and external tools to derive relevant audience and performance insights
  • Align product solutions and inventory mix to meet campaign objectives

Audience & Targeting Strategy (Health Care Marketing)

  • Define and refine target audiences leveraging first-party data, physician affinity insights, behavioural segmentation, and contextual strategies
  • Develop privacy-compliant targeting approaches suited for regulated industries

RFP & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build accurate, commercially viable proposals aligned with margin and revenue objectives
  • Partner closely with Sales teams on RFP responses and strategic recommendations
  • Coordinate with Business, Operations, Customer Success, Product, Data, and Ad Operations teams to ensure feasibility and execution alignment
  • Manage multiple RFPs/media plans simultaneously under strict timelines


Qualifications & Experience

  • 36 years of experience in media planning and strategy, preferably within AdTech, digital agencies, or programmatic platforms
  • Prior exposure to Healthcare/Pharma marketing or regulated industries is preferred
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including DSPs, DMPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, RTB, PMP, and PG deals
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (media planning sheets, costing models, proposal decks); strong command of formulas such as VLOOKUP, IF, logical functions
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, and Operations teams
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related discipline

  • Translate client briefs into structured and compelling media strategies
  • Develop detailed media plans with clearly defined budgets, targeting logic, inventory mix, and projected outcomes
  • Define and align KPIs based on campaign objectives (awareness, engagement, performance)
  • Ensure timely and high-quality RFP submissions
