Role Overview

As part of the mechanical engineering team, you will support the design, build, assembly, and testing of special-purpose machines and development tools used in our R&D and production environments. You will help turn engineering concepts into physical systems through CAD updates, prototyping, fabrication follow-up, assembly, debugging, and documentation. This is a strong opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career engineers to grow at the intersection of mechanical design, prototyping, manufacturing, and food-tech innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the mechanical engineering team in the design, build, and iteration of machine parts, assemblies, fixtures, and development tools
  • Assist in creating and updating CAD models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation
  • Help convert design concepts into prototype builds through part sourcing, fabrication follow-up, assembly, and fit-checking
  • Work with engineers, fabricators, and vendors to support part development and machine builds
  • Assist with prototype assembly, testing, debugging, and design iteration based on trial feedback
  • Support the preparation and organisation of drawings, standard parts, CAD files, and release documentation
  • Help maintain engineering discipline in dimensions, tolerances, revision tracking, and documentation quality
  • Participate in workshop, lab, or production-floor activities related to machine setup, trials, troubleshooting, and modifications
  • Observe and document machine behavior during trials, and provide structured feedback to the engineering team
  • Contribute to test rigs, fixtures, QC tools, and machine sub-systems that support product and process development

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or another relevant STEM field
  • 02 years of experience through internships, projects, or full-time work in mechanical design, prototyping, manufacturing, or related areas
  • Familiarity with at least one CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, or AutoCAD
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, fits, and tolerances
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, 3D printing, or assembly
  • Strong willingness to learn through hands-on build, testing, and debugging work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Organized, disciplined, and capable of working effectively within a small cross-functional team
  • Identify strongly with the companys mission, are driven by curiosity and have a collaborative spirit.
