Job Title: Mechanical Engineer- Automotive (Off-Site)

Location: Kookas, Jaipur, Rajasthan

Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the automotive industry? Join our dynamic team as an Engineering Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in benchmarking for the development of innovative products, as well as Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities focused on EV 2 Wheelers, 3 Wheelers & Passenger Cars.

You will be provided comprehensive training on required software tool xcPEP after joining and before assignment of live projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct a comprehensive study of automotive systems/components and create detailed architecture diagrams.
2. Thoroughly map features & specifications of vehicles and their systems.
3. Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for various vehicle types, including 2W, 3W, 4W, and Commercial Vehicles (CV), covering both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicle (EV).
4. Identify suitable materials, layouts, and child parts while considering the manufacturing process of components.
5. Analyse and compare detailed differences in systems among various vehicles, providing valuable insights.
6. Develop proposal documents outlining cost-saving ideas and confidently present them to management or clients.

Qualifications:

• Diploma, bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering (Diploma BE/B-Tech/ME/M-Tech).
• Graduated in or after 2023.
• Understanding of zero-based costing of automotive parts will be considered a strong advantage.
