The ideal candidate will create, draft, and design product layouts and schemes using customer specification and recommendations. This individual will test products and make adjustments where necessary. Additionally, they will examine broken products and resolve issues for future designs.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in CREO and solid fundamentals in mechanical engineering design. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting mechanical components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models, 2D drawings, and assemblies using CREO.
• Develop detailed designs for mechanical components with a focus on:
• Injection mold plastics
• Sheet metal
• Die-cast components
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with appropriate:
• Material specifications
• Manufacturing processes
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Tolerance stack-up analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Support design validation and troubleshooting during product development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience working with CREO (Pro/E).
• Strong knowledge of:
• Mechanical component design
• Manufacturing processes
• GD&T and tolerance stack-up
• Solid understanding of core mechanical engineering subjects:
• Strength of Materials (SOM)
• Material Science
• Thermal Engineering
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience working in industries such as Automotive, Bosch, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling.
