Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automotive components using CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE
• Work on plastic part design, injection molding, and casting components
• Apply GD&T principles and tolerance stack-up analysis (3DCS)
• Design components for ECU, sensors, camera, radar, and electronic enclosures
• Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development and validation
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and manufacturability requirements
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and engineering change management
• Support product optimization and design improvement activities

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in Automotive Mechanical Design
• Strong expertise in CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE
• Experience in Plastic Design, Injection Molding, or Casting
• Good knowledge of GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up Analysis (3DCS)
• Experience working on automotive components and systems
• Strong understanding of product design lifecycle
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
