Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and production schedules
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock while minimizing carrying costs
  • Analyze material requirements and create purchase orders in coordination with procurement teams
  • Utilize ERP systems to track material movements, update inventory records, and generate planning reports
  • Identify supply chain bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and procurement departments to align material planning with organizational objectives
  • Prepare and present weekly or monthly planning reports to management, highlighting key metrics and variances
  • Maintain accurate records of material specifications, lead times, and supplier information
  • Respond to urgent material requests and adjust plans as needed to meet changing business requirements
  • Ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Business Admiration, Management or Engineering 
  • At least 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)

PREFERRED:

  • Power BI and AI knowledge

SKILLS:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and pivot tables
  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting methodologies and inventory optimization principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management (preferred)
  • Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems (preferred)
  • Experience with supply chain management best practices (preferred)
