Job Description
Hiring: Master Data Engineer (SAP & Cloud Data Platform)
Location: Chennai (Hybrid)
Experience: 610 Years
We are looking for a hands-on Master Data Engineer to support enterprise master data initiatives across SAP and modern cloud data platforms.
Key Requirements:
Strong experience with SAP Master Data (Vendor, Customer, Material, Business Partner)
Good understanding of SAP tables such as LFA1, KNA1, MARA, etc.
Hands-on experience resolving data quality issues, data harmonization, standardization, and duplicate management
Strong SQL skills and ETL/ELT pipeline development experience
Experience with data ingestion using Informatica IICS, SAP extracts, flat files, or similar tools
Exposure to Cloud MDM platforms such as Reltio, Profisee, Semarchy, Stibo, or Informatica Cloud MDM
Experience with data profiling, validation rules, reference data management, and data quality controls
Nice to Have:
Snowflake or other cloud data platforms
dbt or similar transformation tools
Exposure to SAP BW, IBP, or S/4HANA migration initiatives
This is NOT an SAP Functional/Configuration role or a pure BI/Reporting role.
