Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Marine Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management with exposure to shore-based operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering, vessel operations, and project coordination within the offshore, shipping, or port sectors. This is a shore-based project / operations role requiring the candidate to manage vessel planning, scheduling, and technical project oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day project operations including planning, scheduling, and deployment coordination.

Act as the primary technical point of contact for vessel owners, operators, and shipyard teams.

Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Coordinate with engineers, superintendents, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

Support dry-docking, repair, retrofitting, and commissioning activities.

Prepare and maintain technical reports, vessel documentation, and project records.

Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, class requirements, and company standards.

Liaise with classification societies, flag state authorities, and port authorities as needed.

Assist in procurement, material planning, vendor coordination, and provide technical support to field engineers and project teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

B. Tech / B.E. in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience, with sailing experience as an engineer officer (4th Engineer or above preferred).

Prior shore-based experience in marine operations, technical management, or project coordination is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of vessel systems - main engine, auxiliary machinery, piping, electrical, and control systems.

Familiarity with offshore, shipping, or port & terminal operations.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel to shipyards, vessels, or project sites as required.
