What can I expect from this role?

Posha is one of the rare robotics startups building production-grade consumer robots, with hundreds of units deployed in real homes.

This role involves working on defining manufacturing quality standards and working with our suppliers for their adherence.

What will my work responsibilities look like if I join Posha?

• Own quality assurance and control across all subsystems sheet metal chassis, plastics, PCBA, induction/thermal, camera and opto-mechanical through both development and production.
• Define quality processes and inspection requirements per part: tolerances, control plans, AQL sampling, FAI, PPAP, acceptance criteria.
• Manage non-conformance dispositions end-to-end root cause, corrective action, supplier follow-through, escalation.
• Sit on the factory floor in China with our CM and suppliers to set up the processes that hold quality unit after unit.

What makes you a match for us?

• 5+ years in manufacturing quality at a hardware product company hands-on supplier work, not pure inspection.
• Strong fundamentals: tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, FAI / PPAP, AQL, control plans, root-cause analysis.
• Experience setting up quality processes at a contract manufacturer, not just enforcing existing ones.
• Willingness to work in China for extended periods is non-negotiable. Our manufacturing is in Shenzhen / Dongguan.
