ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES-

* Oversee the design, prototyping, and optimization of Automotive Gears and transmission systems for various applications, including automotive, off-highway, and rail.

* Collaborate with the R&D and design teams to incorporate cutting-edge technologies and ensure designs meet performance, quality, and cost requirements.

* Analyze and improve production workflows, quality control systems & manufacturing methodologies.

Job Description -

Drive manufacturing excellence at the location by implementing the strategy to enhance the existing manufacturing process by identifying new product opportunities and improvements in existing product range and by proving inputs on the latest technologies, manufacturing engineering processes, machines and costing.

Drive process capability and product quality assessment and continuous improvement

ESSENTIAL/DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS-

Collaborate with the R&D and design teams to incorporate cutting-edge technologies and ensure designs meet performance, quality, and cost requirements.

Implement and monitor effective quality control systems and inspections throughout the

manufacturing process.

Work closely with design, R&D, and production teams to ensure smooth transition from prototype to full-scale production.

Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and customer satisfaction.

Ensure effective operation and maintenance of critical machinery and equipment, including but not limited to:

Gleason Gear Hobbing Machines (Genesis 130H / GP300 / P400 / P600 / PE800)

Premier Gear Hobbing Machine (PE250)

Gear Shaping Machines (Lorenz CLC / Premier)

Gear Shaving Machines (Genesis 130 SV / Sicmat / Kanzaki)

Gear Grinding Machines (Reishauer RZ 301 / RZ 362 / RZ 160 / RZ 260 / P600-800G)

Broaching Machines (Protel 6T / Protel 10T / Cranebel 25T)

Internal Grinding (Morara / Voumard / PMT)

Turning Centers (Mazak SQT 250 / Mazak QTN 350)

Machining Centers (Mazak 4000 / Mazak 5800 / Mazak HCN6000)

External Grinding (Studer S36 / Studer S40 / Tsugami G350)

CANDIDATE- BE/ ME in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering with 10- 18 year of sound experience in ME function of Gear Manufacturing setups.
