Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Manager for Special Projects, to join our team during the launch and stabilization phase of our Pipes and Fittings business through the retail channel in the Indian market. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in executing field projects, focusing on the successful rollout, identification, and activation of primary, secondary, and tertiary channels.
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Pipes & Fittings: Market Launch
- Take end-to-end accountability for all preparatory activities related to the rollout of the Pipes & Fittings business.
- Drive on-ground execution during the product launch phase.
2. Primary Channel Identification
- Collect and compile distributor and retailer data to identify the right channel partners.
- Build and maintain a structured database of potential primary channels.
- Conduct meetings to assess the suitability and capability of prospective partners.
- Communicate business benefits, policies, and processes effectively to shortlisted partners.
- Lead onboarding of selected channels and provide continuous support to ensure smooth stabilization.
3. Secondary Activations
- Train and groom dealers and shop staff (shop-boys) to build capability in the Pipes business.
- Address and resolve objections raised by dealers to ensure alignment and continuity.
- Proactively identify operational challenges and drive timely issue resolution during activation.
4. Tertiary Activations (WST Extendable to Pipes)
- Manage rollout of loyalty programs, including enrolment, banking, and redemption processes.
- Drive engagement initiatives:
- Organize and participate in channel meets
- Provide on-site (site) support for seamless execution
- Conduct training programs to enhance channel effectiveness.
