Manager - Medical Coding

We are hiring a Medical Coding Manager to lead end-to-end physician coding operations across multiple specialties. The role requires strong expertise in CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS, along with proven people management, compliance, and client-handling skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage daily physician coding operations and ensure adherence to SLAs
• Ensure high coding accuracy and compliance with CMS, AAPC/AHIMA guidelines
• Lead internal and external audits; drive corrective and preventive actions
• Handle client communication, escalations and performance reviews
• Lead, mentor, and develop Team Leads and coding teams
• Track KPIs such as accuracy, productivity, TAT, denials, and rework
• Oversee training, refreshers, and certification readiness programs
• Support transitions, ramp-ups, process improvements, and automation initiatives

Skills Required:

• Should have 10 to 15 years of experience and minimum 3 years in management role.
• Strong knowledge of Physician Coding: E&M, Surgery, Modifiers
• US Healthcare & RCM domain expertise
• Team management and client-facing experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills
