As we pivot into an AI-first powerhouse, we are looking for an L&D Manager to be the "Growth Architect" for our most valuable asset: our people. Whether its helping our Tech team master Agentic AI or helping our Performance Marketing team stay ahead of algorithm shifts, you will be the engine behind our collective intelligence.

Job Summary:
This is a "Zero-to-One" leadership role. You won't just manage a calendar; you will map the DNA of high performance. You will be responsible for ensuring our teams are efficient, our sales pitches are "dangerous," and our competency gaps are closed with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
L&D Strategy & Competency Mapping
- Departmental Audits: Partner with Heads of Creative, Tech, and Marketing to define what "Expertise" looks like in their specific domains.
- Function Building: Design and implement the first-ever comprehensive L&D framework at VeeFly.
- Skill Gap Analysis: Use data and performance reviews to identify precisely where a team is lagging and design a surgical training intervention.
- Competency Mapping: Build a rigorous grading and skill-mapping system for all functions (Sales, Tech, Operations).
- Efficiency Mapping: Identify bottlenecks in cross-team workflows (e.g., Creative to Performance Marketing) and resolve them through process training.
- The ROI of Learning: Establish measurable KPIs to track the impact of learning on business outcomes and employee growth.
360 Training Delivery
- Technical Training: Facilitate workshops on our evolving Tech Stack and AI-integration for the engineering and growth teams.
- Sales Enablement: Partner with the Sales Head to build high-impact pitch modules. Train teams to sell complex, domain-specific AI/Ad-tech programs.
- Concept-Based Learning: Move beyond boring presentations. Execute interactive, "concept-driven" sessions that ensure deep understanding and retention.
- Onboarding & Leadership: Own the entire lifecyclefrom Day 0 onboarding to leadership coaching for our rising stars.
- Creative & Marketing Edge: Organize sessions on the latest YouTube trends, performance metrics, and creative storytelling for our content and growth teams.
- Soft Skills & Leadership: Build the next generation of VeeFly leaders through modules on communication, stakeholder management, and critical thinking.
Efficiency Mapping & Reporting
- Performance BI: Create structured reports and dashboards highlighting training progress, skill readiness, and improvement areas.
- Efficiency Audits: Work with Department Heads to identify bottlenecks in productivity and recommend targeted interventions.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a strategic consultant to leadership, translating business challenges into learning solutions.
OKR Framework & Goal Alignment
- OKR Champion: Drive the adoption and tracking of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) across all departments (Tech, Creative, Marketing, etc.).
- Alignment: Ensure that individual learning plans are directly linked to the quarterly OKRs of the department.
- Progress Tracking: Conduct monthly/quarterly check-ins with team leads to ensure teams are on track to hit their "Key Results."
Performance Management & ROI
- Competency Grading: Build a rigorous grading system to identify "High-Potentials" and provide them with leadership coaching.
- PIP Management: Design and lead Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) that actually work, turning underperformers into contributors.
- L&D ROI: Prove the value of training by showing a direct correlation between L&D interventions and improvements in team-specific KPIs (e.g., lower churn, higher ad ROAS, or faster dev cycles).
L&D Infrastructure & BI
- Founding the Function: Establish the first-ever comprehensive L&D framework, including onboarding, periodic refreshers, and an annual learning calendar.
- ROI Tracking: Move beyond "attendance logs." Build BI reports that show how training improved a team's outputwhether it's faster code deployments, better ad ROAS, or higher CSAT scores.
Who You Are
- Experience: 47 years of core L&D experience. If youve worked in Digital Marketing, SaaS, or Performance Marketing, you have a massive advantage.
- The "Builder" Mindset: You enjoy the challenge of building processes where none exist. You don't need a manual; you write it.
- Data-Driven: You love spreadsheets as much as you love people. You use data to prove that your training works.
- Communication: You are a master facilitator who can command a room (virtual or physical) and handle tough objections with critical thinking.
