Manager | Java Springboot Backend | Bengaluru | Engineering | Platform Development & Integration Job requisition ID : 109393 Location : Bengaluru Entity : Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP Key Responsibilities Lead the development of enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot . Design and implement Microservices-based architectures for scalable and resilient systems. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services. Drive architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making. Mentor and guide developers on coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization. Collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Participate in CI/CD implementation and cloud-native application development. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java . Strong expertise in Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices . Experience with REST APIs, Spring Cloud, API Gateway, Service Discovery, and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Strong understanding of system design, performance tuning, and application security. Prior experience leading development teams and delivering complex projects. Education : Graduation
