Your work profile We are seeking a highly skilled Manager level Java Microservices Expert who can independently design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-native microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . The candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture , and GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) , with proven ability to debug and resolve production issues effectively. Key skills required: Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot Independently build, package, and deploy microservices to GCP environments Deploy and manage applications on GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) Analyse, troubleshoot, and debug GKE logs and production issues when services fail Implement RESTful APIs and ensure high performance, reliability, and security Work with containerization technologies such as Docker Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and platform teams on cloud-native solutions Follow best practices for logging, monitoring, resiliency, and observability Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and enterprise policies Preferred Qualifications Java (8/11/17) Expert-level hands-on experience Spring Boot (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security) Microservices Architecture (REST, API design, inter-service communication) Google Cloud Platform (GCP) hands-on deployment experience Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting Docker & Kubernetes Strong experience with log analysis and debugging in GKE Database experience (SQL and/or NoSQL) Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build, etc.) Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Monitoring & Logging Service mesh (Istio), API gateways Message brokers (Kafka, Pub/Sub) Security practices (OAuth2, JWT, IAM) Performance tuning and resilience patterns (Circuit Breaker, Retry, Bulkhead) Behavioural & Professional Skills: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Ownership mindset and production-first approach Grade Expectation (GCB4) Acts as a technical expert and individual contributor Owns solution delivery end-to-end Drives best practices and mentors junior engineers Influences design and architecture decisions Success Metrics: Ontime, onbudget program delivery Client satisfaction (CSAT / NPS) Revenue growth and margin improvement Reduced escalations and improved delivery stability Strong renewal and account growth performance Proficiency in English is required .
