Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of Manager Controls Testing! In this role the Manager plays a pivotal role in identifying analysing and mitigating risks across the organisation. This position requires a deep understanding of risk management practices advanced analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex risk concepts to stakeholders. The Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure that risks are properly assessed and managed in line with the organisation's objectives and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: - Risk Assessment and Controls Evaluation: - Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats to the organisation's financial operational and compliance objectives. - Evaluate the design and effectiveness of existing internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary. - Control Design and Implementation: - Develop design and implement new controls to address identified risks and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate controls into business processes. - Monitoring and Testing: - Lead the testing of internal controls to ensure they are functioning as intended and comply with relevant regulations and standards. - Develop and execute control testing plans including scoping testing and reporting on findings. - Training & Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior risk analysts and other team members. - Share expertise and knowledge to build the teams overall risk management capabilities. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Finance Legal Compliance and Operations to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management.Qualifications
