Role Overview
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our Transaction Advisory / Deals team as a Manager in Financial Due Diligence (FDD). The role involves leading buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements, analyzing financial performance, identifying deal risks, and supporting clients through M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deal Execution & Due Diligence
- Lead financial due diligence engagements for acquisitions, mergers, and investments
- Analyze historical financial statements and identify key trends
- Assess quality of earnings (QoE), working capital, and net debt
- Identify financial risks, red flags, and deal breakers
- Review data rooms and manage diligence requests
2. Financial Analysis & Insights
- Perform detailed analysis of revenue, margins, and cost structures
- Evaluate sustainability of earnings and cash flows
- Support valuation considerations with financial insights
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during engagements
- Work closely with investment teams, PE funds, corporates, and bankers
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
4. Team Leadership & Project Management
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Lead, mentor, and review work of associates/analysts
- Drive team productivity and engagement
5. Reporting & Deliverables
- Prepare due diligence reports, executive summaries, and presentations
- Clearly articulate key findings, risks, and deal implications
- Support negotiation points based on diligence findings
