Business Understanding Baldota Group / MSPL Gases:

MSPL Gases Limited, a part of the Baldota Group, is engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of industrial and medical gases including Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, CO2, Acetylene, and specialty gases. The company operates multiple plants and depots across South and West India, catering to industries such as steel, fabrication, engineering, mining, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, fabrication workshops, and manufacturing units. The business model includes packaged cylinder sales, bulk liquid supply, depot operations, customer relationship management, and aggressive market development for new industrial buyers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive aggressive marketing and business development activities for Oxygen, Nitrogen and packaged industrial gases.
  • Identify and develop new prospective buyers in assigned territory through field visits, networking, and market mapping.
  • Generate business from industries such as steel, fabrication, engineering, automobile, healthcare, pharma, mining, and infrastructure.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for packaged gases, cylinder sales, and depot revenue.
  • Develop long-term relationships with industrial customers, hospitals, OEMs, and contractors.
  • Manage depot operations including dispatch coordination, cylinder inventory, customer servicing, and logistics planning.
  • Coordinate with plant operations and transport teams to ensure timely deliveries and uninterrupted customer supply.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market opportunities.
  • Ensure collection of outstanding payments and maintain healthy receivables.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, market intelligence reports, and customer visit reports.
  • Lead and motivate depot sales executives and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety norms, statutory regulations, and company SOPs for industrial gas handling.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate / Diploma in Engineering / MBA preferred.
  • 815 years of experience in industrial gases, packaged gas sales, industrial consumables, or related B2B industrial marketing.
  • Strong exposure in Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, CO2, Acetylene, or specialty gas sales.
  • Excellent market development and customer acquisition capability.
  • Strong local market knowledge and industrial customer network.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and team handling skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for business development activities.
