Job Description

We are looking for an experienced [7-9] Java Developer (preferred with Magnolia CMS) to join our Digital Experience (DX) unit.

1. Core Backend Development

Good expertise in Java 11/17, enterprise-grade backend engineering, REST API design, modular development, and building scalable CMS components and integration layers.

2. Magnolia CMS Expertise

Custom Java-based modules, components, templates, dialogs, JCR/YAML config, Groovy scripting, Freemarker/templating, Light Development (optional), workflows, DAM, personalization, caching & performance tuning, content apps, MGNL AdminCentral customization, module lifecycle/versioning, JCR SQL2 queries, headless/REST delivery, migration & upgrade support

3. Content Repository & Architecture

JCR concepts (nodes, properties, workspaces), Magnolia content structure, Jackrabbit/Oak persistence, templating system, content models, DAM, i18n, personalization architecture.

4. Integration & API Skills

Backend integrations, microservices, OAuth2, SSO, JWT; JSON/XML etc

5. Build & CI/CD

GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions; Maven build pipelines etc

6. Deployment & Servers

Linux (Basic knowledge), Tomcat, JBoss; H2, PostgreSQL; Magnolia deployment lifecycle

7. Monitoring

Splunk, ELK/Elastic Stack, log analysis, performance troubleshooting with Dynatrace etc

8. Quality & Collaboration

JUnit, Mockito, debugging distributed systems, Agile teamwork; collaboration with Engineering, DevOps, E-Ops, SonarQube

Skills:

- This role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining digital platforms powered by Magnolia CMS.

- The ideal candidate has strong Java/J2EE expertise and hands-on Magnolia development experience, including exposure to Magnolia CMS product version upgrades or migrations, to support ongoing platform modernization.

- The resource will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to delivering scalable, high-quality digital solutions with exposure to AI based development.

Work Days: Monday- Friday
