Role: MagicDraw Support Engineer

Location: Bangalore

We are seeking an experienced MagicDraw Support Engineer to provide application and server administration support, manage deployments, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure system availability. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in MagicDraw administration, server management, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities Server & Application Administration

  • Perform server reboot and maintenance activities.
  • Respond to server access and application availability issues.
  • Execute server upgrades and patch deployments.
  • Modify software configuration settings based on IT infrastructure changes.
  • Plan and support future software deployments and enhancements.
  • Perform and document required setup and configuration changes.
  • Ensure compliance with server access and security policies.
  • Generate reports for audit, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Create and document test cases for system changes, break-fixes, and enhancements.
  • Support disaster recovery activities and recovery drills.
  • Setup, maintain, and enhance server and application monitoring solutions.
  • Conduct performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Investigate performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and shared service teams including DBAs, network teams, and system administrators.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate and lead support activities across teams.
  • Drive issue resolution and ensure timely closure of incidents.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced support environment.
  • Manage client interactions and provide regular status updates.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in MagicDraw administration and support.
  • Experience in Application Server Deployment & Administration.
  • Knowledge of PLM environments and integrations.
  • Server monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Understanding of disaster recovery and system availability concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise engineering/design applications.
  • Exposure to infrastructure management and shared service environments.
  • Experience working with global teams and client-facing projects.
