Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an LLM Engineering Trainer at GROWAI Edtech. The LLM Engineering Trainer will design and deliver live and recorded sessions on large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and applied generative AI. Day-to-day work includes preparing curricula, creating hands-on labs and projects, reviewing learner assignments, and providing individualized feedback and mentorship. The trainer will collaborate with the curriculum team to update content based on industry trends, tools, and best practices, and may participate in webinars, Q&A sessions, and office hours. The role also involves contributing to instructional materials, documentation, and assessments that help learners progress from fundamentals to advanced LLM applications.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning concepts, including experience working with transformer-based models and large language models.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and common AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases).
  • Practical expertise in prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning or parameter-efficient tuning, evaluation of LLM outputs, and building LLM-powered applications.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to learners with diverse backgrounds, using examples, demos, and structured exercises.
  • Prior teaching, mentoring, technical training, or developer advocacy experience in AI or software engineering is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and tools used in AI workflows (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a focus on clarity, structure, and learner engagement.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cohorts or classes in a remote environment.
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Commitment to inclusive, respectful, and supportive teaching practices for learners from varied backgrounds and experience levels.
