Key Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers in a web hosting environment

Install and manage services such as Apache, MySQL, Exim, DNS, and related web technologies

Perform server security hardening, patch management, and security audits

Monitor server performance, hardware health, and infrastructure alerts

Analyze system, application, and mail logs to troubleshoot issues

Provide Level I technical support via helpdesk and phone

Troubleshoot cPanel/WHM and Plesk control panel issues

Maintain documentation and update internal knowledge base systems

Participate in infrastructure improvements, monitoring enhancements, and workflow optimization

Support 24x7 operations responsibilities when necessary

Experience: 1 to 3 Years (Relevant experience in Linux Administration)

Required Skills

Strong expertise in Linux system administration

Advanced knowledge of cPanel/WHM and Plesk

Experience with Apache, MySQL, Exim, DNS, and mail server configuration

Good understanding of TCP/IP networking (LAN/WAN)

Experience with virtualization technologies

Familiarity with ITIL practices and SLA management

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
