Role Overview
Role Name: L&D Manager
Reporting to: HR Head - India
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments in collaboration with departmental leaders to identify learning gaps and performance improvement opportunities.
- Program Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs and initiatives aligned with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Instructional Design: Apply instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, workshops, and multimedia resources.
- Facilitation and Delivery: Facilitate training sessions and workshops, leveraging a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
- Performance Evaluation: Establish metrics and evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of training programs, measure learning outcomes, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Leadership Development: Design and deliver leadership development programs to cultivate the skills and capabilities of managers and emerging leaders across the organization.
- Talent Development Initiatives: Partner with HR and talent management teams to support career development initiatives, succession planning efforts, and talent retention strategies.
- Change Management Support: Provide learning and development support during organizational change initiatives, helping employees adapt to new processes, systems, and roles.
- Compliance and Regulatory Training: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies by developing and delivering training programs on topics such as safety, diversity, inclusion, and ethics.
- Budget Management: Manage the learning and development budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize the impact of training initiatives while maintaining cost efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Any Graduate, MBA is preferable
- Experience: 4-8 years of experience in learning and development, training, or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in instructional design and program management.
- Significant previous experience of leading a Learning and Development and Talent Management Function
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, design methodologies, and learning technology trends.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and other learning technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with training evaluation and assessment methods.
