Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Talend Developer to lead enterprise-scale data integration and ETL initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Talend Data Integration, ETL/ELT development, SQL optimization, data governance, CI/CD processes, and production support. This role involves designing scalable data pipelines, managing deployments, ensuring data quality, and supporting end-to-end project delivery across Development, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.

Key Responsibilities

ETL Development & Data Integration

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end ETL/ELT solutions using Talend.
• Build scalable and high-performance data integration pipelines.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, schema validation, and data migration activities.
• Develop robust data quality checks and validation frameworks.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems and databases.

Data Governance & Compliance

• Implement data quality standards and governance frameworks.
• Ensure data integrity, lineage, and consistency across systems.
• Apply PII masking and regulatory compliance controls.
• Maintain documentation for data models, mappings, and governance processes.

CI/CD & Environment Management

• Manage deployments using Talend Administration Center (TAC).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment processes.
• Maintain version control and environment consistency across Development, SIT, UAT, and Production.
• Support release planning and deployment automation initiatives.

Testing & Validation

• Perform Unit Testing (UT) for Talend jobs and transformations.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related defects and integration issues.
• Manage test data preparation and environment refresh activities.

Deployment & Release Management

• Execute production releases following Change Management processes.
• Lead deployment planning, cutover activities, and release execution.
• Prepare rollback and contingency plans for production deployments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful releases.

Production Support & Optimization

• Provide post-production support and hypercare after go-live.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical production issues.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL job performance.
• Create operational runbooks and knowledge transfer documentation for support teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Integration and ETL Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design and development.
• Advanced SQL and database performance tuning skills.
• Experience with Talend Administration Center (TAC).
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and PII Masking.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, Production Deployments, and Hypercare activities.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, DevOps concepts, and version control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Good to Have

• Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Regulatory environments.
• Exposure to Cloud Data Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with modern Data Engineering and Data Warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration and data migration projects.
