Lead Software Engineer (C++ developer)

Cadence Design Systems is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to work on next generation Synthesis / Place-and-Route database team in the Digital Design Implementation Business Unit.

You will be part of a team responsible to design, develop, troubleshoot, debug and support database infrastructure and its interfaces to applications.

Development responsibilities will include data-model enhancement, database enhancement, performance enhancement, and API/Class definition & enhancement.

Position Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

MTech or BTech with 2+ years of experience, in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

Knowledge in IC design data model, database architecture, efficient data access algorithms

Proficient in C/C++

Proficiency with Tcl scripting is a plus.

Excellent programming and software engineering skills, Data Structures/algorithm design.

Experience with UNIX and/or LINUX platforms is preferred.
