About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst with a strong background in Banking and Financial Services, preferably in Credit Risk. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SQL, Power BI, and data analytics, along with a solid understanding of Snowflake. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring the ability to analyze complex datasets, develop insightful dashboards, and support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis initiatives to support business, risk, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Perform complex data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL.
• Design, develop, and maintain executive-level dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Work with large-scale datasets in Snowflake and other enterprise data platforms.
• Analyze credit risk portfolios, customer behavior, and business performance metrics.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts and establish best practices for analytics and reporting.
• Support regulatory, audit, and risk management reporting initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Management.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL for complex querying, data analysis, and performance optimization.
• Advanced experience with Power BI including data modeling, DAX, visualization design, and dashboard development.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake data warehouse architecture and data management concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive business insights from large datasets.
• Experience leading analytics initiatives and interacting with senior business stakeholders.

Domain Expertise

• Mandatory experience in Banking and Financial Services.
• Preferred background in Credit Risk, Risk Analytics, Lending, Collections, Basel Reporting, or Regulatory Reporting.
• Understanding of banking data models, risk metrics, and portfolio analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and reporting standards.
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies
